Our History
Mander Cruickshank Solicitors LLP was formed by Leslie Hale in 1923 and soon became a force in the North West Leicestershire area. Leslie Hale was duly elected as MP for Oldham between 1945 and 1968 and entered the House of Lords in 1973 as Lord Hale of Oldham. Leslie Hale was joined by Frank Mander and later on by Ewan Mander. The firm grew quickly through the 1980's and began to specialise in various areas of the law with experienced Partners leading dedicated teams.
