At Mander Cruickshank Solicitors LLP we have established an excellent reputation for defending people in criminal cases over many years. Our Criminal Team has extensive experience of a wide range of cases, and understands that you will want your case dealt with sensitively.

Whether you are under suspicion of murder, shoplifting, armed robbery or any other offence, we will ensure that we do everything we can to help you. We recognise that even a case that may seem minor to the Courts, is very important to you.

We pride ourselves on working exceptionally hard for our clients and ensuring that no stone is left unturned in challenging a prosecution case and building a solid defence. We deal with criminal cases at all levels including voluntary interviews under caution at home or at work, interviews under caution at Police Stations, Magistrates Court cases, Crown Court cases and Court of Appeal cases.

To ensure that our quality advice is always at hand, we provide a 24 hour emergency service for people who are being interviewed by the police or someone with a power of arrest. This does not need to be at a police station, we will happily deal with interviews under caution taking place voluntarily at your home address. We will provide prompt help, advice and attendance. This is completely free of charge.

Public Funding ("LEGAL AID")

We hold a General Criminal Contract with the Legal Services Commission. We will always advise you as to your eligibility for Public Funding. Legal Advice and assistance is available for free regardless of how much you earn or have in savings if you under arrest at a police station, or attending a police station for interview under caution, or are being interviewed at home or at another location under caution.

Public Funding is available at the Magistrates Court (subject to your financial circumstances) and at the Crown Court (which may be subject to a contribution).

If in your particular circumstances public funding is not available, or you choose to instruct us privately, Mander Cruickshank Solicitors LLP offer very competitive rates, and are happy to discuss and agree fees with you.
